Next stop is deep inside of Mexico. So far, this is what he had to say:
” Got to San Carlos on the coast today. Nice place, but a bit dead unfortunately. …meeting {a friend} in Mazatlan on Monday {which I am} looking forward to. The ride, so far, has been good. Managed to get through the dodgy part near the border, although I almost ran out of fuel in a bad bad spot. Drove 22mks after fuel gauge said I was empty. The US State Department advises people not to drive where I drove 500kms…Oops :)”
